Reveal - Hong Kong Models 1/32 B-17G Flying Fortress

OK, finally here it is. Quite simply the most awesome plastic kit money can buy (until the 1/32 Lancaster comes out this year, I suspect). It is not without problems (and it is very expensive), but the sheer size and quality of detail in this thing beggars belief. I added a ton of Eduard etch and Brassin goodies for the ultimate model. Decals are from Zotz and Kitsworld, because the ones supplied in the kit are a waste of time.

Reveal - Eduard/Academy 1/48 P-38J Lightning

Not an Eduard original, this one, the plastic is "borrowed" from Academy, and the box is filled with extra Eduard goodies. But the old Academy kit stands up well, still arguably the best 1/48 P-38 out there, and despite some tricky build issues, the addition of the Eduard etch and resin, with a bit of care, results in a first class model. The markings are custom made, representing 43-28301 "Mama's Boy" flown by Lt. Edwin E. Wasil.
