Reveal - Revell 1/32 Supermarine Spitfire MKIIa

The latest addition to Revell's brilliant 1/32 series, this brand new tool Spit, whilst not quite attaining the refinement of Tamiya's 1/32 series, comes in at around a fifth of the price, so who's complaining? With the addition of some Eduard enhancements the results are not far off, that's for sure.

It builds very well, just a small number of fit issues and ambiguities that are easily overcome.

Reveal - Monogram 1/48 B-24J Liberator

This is an old kit, but still holds its own. Especially if you want a 1/48 scale Libby, as there is no other choice! But it's basically accurate and contains some nice details but is probably best dressed up, as in this case, with some after market detail goodies.

Also, it has raised panel lines which I normally avoid like the plague, but on bare metal finishes I find this is less of a problem as, as I hope you will agree, does not detract from the finished article!

Reveal - Pacific Coast Models 1/32 Hawker Hurricane Mk I

This kit has it's challenges, but with a little care it builds into a beautiful and faithful representation of this most famous aircraft. I chose the markings of Douglas Bader, basically because of his reputation!

This is, rather surprisingly, the only modern tooling of the Hurricane in 1/32 (even though we are spoilt for Spitfires in this scale) so it's good to have such a decent kit to work with.
